2024: The year of #FinTok 📱💸 From girl math to loud budgeting, financial trends and bite-sized money tips were shared alongside memes and viral dance challenges on TikTok®—and they made quite an impact on everyday Americans. We surveyed 2,000 people across four generations and found that 50% believe #FinTok provides better financial advice than other sources. 👀 While we don’t personally recommend using girl math as a financial strategy anytime soon, 68% of respondents say that #FinTok has improved their financial situation at home. And with 53% planning to use it more in the year ahead, it looks like #FinTok is here to stay. This Giving Tuesday, we're proud to shine a light on our Chime It Forward™ initiative—Chime's month of service—where our Chimers come together to transform community support from a moment into a movement! 🙌 During the last three weeks alone, more than 300 Chimers have been making an incredible impact, volunteering over 680 hours to meaningful causes, donating more than 500 essential items, and supporting organizations across the country. At Chime, we believe every act of kindness creates a ripple effect. Whether it's reviewing college essays, sorting food at a local food bank, logging miles to raise funds, or creating care packages, our team proves that community support isn't just what they do—it's who they are. 💚 We're celebrating today by putting together care kits at all of our offices with items donated from Chimers nationwide.
