  • This month, we would like to take a moment to celebrate the generosity of Action Specialty Packaging and the 927th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron of MacDill Air Force Base. These two groups of distinctive difference makers have volunteered their time and treasures to bring joy to children and families through our annual Holiday Card Campaign. The 927th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron of MacDill Air Force Base have earned the rank as our preferred engineers of the special holiday card stands. For the last five years, they’ve volunteered their time to help construct the bases and get them ready to be displayed in your local Publix stores throughout the holidays. Building these custom stands is no small task and we couldn’t do it without them. We share the same appreciation for Action Speciality Packaging, a family-operated, proud partner of ours who annually donates the stands for over 170 Publix stores in Florida. Their precision and execution allow for the displays to be both durable and visually appealing, creating an inviting opportunity for customers to support our mission. Thank you to both of these amazing partners for their dedication and generosity in making the Holiday Card Campaign a success. Be sure to check out cccholidaycards.com or visit your local Publix to shop for your holiday cards this holiday season!

  • This month, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Bavaro's Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria for hosting a fabulous five course dinner bringing awareness to the Children’s Cancer Center. Held at their Sarasota location, the evening honored Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and drew the community together in support of the over 150 local Sarasota children and families that we serve. Bavaro’s family-first approach combines tradition and community spirit in every dish. They are more than just a dining destination but artists of delicious, authentic Neapolitan pizza. Their Sarasota location was the perfect place to pair great wines with espresso inspired courses made from scratch. Thank you to Bavaro's for bringing your guests together and using your Italian recipes to serve the community!

  • Thank you so much to the Children’s Cancer Center’s longtime partner and Gelatin Plunge Corporate Challenge winner DEX Imaging for donating their suite to the staff at last night’s Lightning Game! Being able to attend the game as a team outing after a very tumultuous few weeks after the hurricanes allowed the Children’s Cancer Center team to fill up their cups, so they can find creative ways to keep pouring into the children and families we serve.

  • This September, we are thrilled to recognize Fourth as our Partner of the Month. Fourth is a leader in data-driven workforce and inventory technology for the retail, restaurant, and hospitality sectors. Fourth has been a longtime champion of the Children’s Cancer Center, sponsoring several of our signature events, bringing joy to our families through our holiday adoption and rounding up the Krewe of the Knights of Sant’ Yago Gasparilla krewe for surprise visits to our programs. Below are a few words from Gene Cabrera, Senior Vice President, about our amazing partnership: “Fourth has been a proud sponsor of the Children Cancer Center for over 8 years. Our involvement is not just at the corporate level, as our employees have all gotten involved and participated in the Holiday Adoption Program as well. All you have to do is visit the CCC once to know and understand why we have chosen this organization to partner with. The work they do and the smiles they put on these family’s faces is amazing. Personally my family including my wife Angel, our kids, and our grandkids all share in adopting a couple of families each year and collectively shop and deliver the gifts to the Children Cancer Center. It’s our favorite part of the holiday season!” Thank you to Gene Cabrera and the entire team at Fourth for understanding it takes more than medicine to battle pediatric cancer.

  • As we enter our new fiscal year, the Children’s Cancer Center would like to recognize our recent Gelatin Plunge Corporate Challenge Winner, DEX Imaging, as our Partner of the Month. DEX Imaging has been a staple in the Tampa community and consistently champions our mission through their belief that a strong community will enable strong corporations. DEX Imaging has made several splashes for the CCC but this one has been the most memorable! Below are a few words from DEX Imaging about what it means to partner with us: “Partnering with the Children's Cancer Center is profoundly meaningful to us, as it allows us to support and uplift children and families facing incredibly challenging times. At the foundation of our company is a deep commitment to giving back to our local communities, we do this by donating a third of our profits back to local charities in all the locations we serve. Through this partnership, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most, embodying our core values of compassion and service. As a highly competitive company, we are especially happy to be the 2024 Corporate Challenge winners for the Children's Cancer Center Gelatin Plunge! Overall, DEX is proud to contribute to such a wonderful cause.” Thank you to our Cypress street neighbors, DEX Imaging, for giving where you live and partnering with us to make a difference.

The Muma Children's Hospital at TGH was a proud sponsor of the Gelatin Plunge, showing up in full force with our nurses, leadership, physicians, and social workers taking the plunge into 2,000 gallons of orange gelatin! This incredible event, hosted by the Children's Cancer Center, brings together our community to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. Since its inception in 2013, the Gelatin Plunge has raised over $800,000 and supported more than 5,000 children and their families. It was a true honor to be part of such a vibrant and impactful event! 🧡 #WeAreTGH
