On January 1, 2025, Women’s Hospital at Saint Joseph East delivered its first baby of 2025 at 5:37 a.m. Rosa and Justin Westhoff of Georgetown, Ky., welcomed their son Tobias, who weighed 8 lb. 13 oz. and was 20 inches long. Women’s Hospital at Saint Joseph East provided the parents with a gift basket. In 2024, Women’s Hospital at Saint Joseph East welcomed 1,389 babies. Congratulations to Rosa and Justin Westhoff!

Shell Todd, medical staff coordinator at Saint Mount Sterling, and other caregivers are warming up our community, one stitch at a time. Shell has organized a project called "Hooked on Humankindness" to provide scarves, hats and fingerless gloves to our Humankindness Havens. She isn’t just rallying knitters – she’s getting everyone involved by teaching others how to knit or crochet and collecting yarn donations for the project.
