Do you have a holiday tradition that inspires giving and generosity? 💝 CFI Chair Chip Roach and his wife, Nancy, host a "Go-Giver Luncheon" each December. Four generations gather as the youngest family members (ages 1–26) share how they used their $50 Thanksgiving gift to help others. This heartwarming tradition has been fostering philanthropy in the Roach family for over 50 years! It's a great example of inspiring philanthropy, a central tenet of CFI's mission. Share your family’s giving traditions in the comments. Read the full story in our December newsletter issue: https://lnkd.in/eAsExxzt

Thank you Simon Robson from YourVolunTEAM for joining the SanCap nonprofits for a robust discussion on volunteering trends last week as we consider new engagement strategies after a successive number of disruptions. Several great insights were shared but the one that resonated most with the organizations was establishing a community passport for volunteers whereby they could encourage individuals to try new opportunities with other organizations and offer perks, benefits and rewards to do so. Thanks to our partners who are always up to creatively strategizing new ways of partnering! #volunteers #collaboration #nonprofits BIG ARTS (Barrier Island Group for the Arts) The Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) CROW - Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, Inc.
