This holiday season, the NPL Construction Co. Massachusetts team is spreading joy! They came together to donate toys and help make the season brighter for children in need in the Springfield, MA area.

We are proud of the NPL Canada team and their unwavering commitment to giving back to the communities where they live and work. In the past few weeks, their teams have come together to make a positive impact, collecting food and toys to support local organizations this holiday season.

The NPL Construction Co. Massachusetts team came together to support the Springfield Boys & Girls Club’s Festival of Trees with their sponsored Pipeline Pine! Huge thanks to the team for helping spread holiday cheer and giving back to the community this holiday season.

The holiday season is a time for reflection and gratitude. This year we are particularly appreciative of the work our four Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) have done in 2024 across Centuri and throughout our host communities to drive meaningful change. From supporting mentoring programs to cultural milestones, our ERGs are making a meaningful impact including: - Collaborating with service members and veterans as part of our WE-VETS ERG to foster a culture of belonging and respect. - Advocating for mental health with enterprise-wide initiatives, including providing 988 decals and wellness challenges as part of our Be Well Mind & Body ERG. - Partnering with communities by taking part in school supply donations, supplier diversity events. skilled trades fairs, and philanthropic activities through our CommUNITY ERG. - Encouraging and empowering women in our industry through our WELD ERG, including conference participation and mentoring. Last month, the Linetec Services team participated in a food drive organized by Nourishment for the Needy. Items collected help restock the food pantry and ensure food reaches families in need throughout Montgomery County, TX.

National is always looking for ways to innovate and streamline utility construction on behalf of their customers while safeguarding the community and the environment. In less than two weeks their teams were able to remove seven miles of 3/8” steel static wire and replace it with OPGW Fiber optic wire. This work was accomplished utilizing helicopters to place crew members on structures, and much of the work was done working off the helicopter skid. This method avoids the utilization of traditional work methods that require the use of heavy equipment, causing road closures and environmental disturbances. The newly installed fiber optic wire will now allow efficient communication between substations, enabling utility owners to operate equipment throughout the city remotely. Not only can the system be remotely Isolated, but also the new fiber can help identify the exact location of faults by measuring fault current from the substation out to the fault. By utilizing helicopters, National lessoned the impact to the community and the environment and greatly reduced the project duration. Learn more about National at https://lnkd.in/gGxACYAp
