A great day at the Andrew and Walter Young Family YMCA Toy and Coat Giveaway! Tons to do for the entire family. Thanks to Walgreens and the The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. for joining forces to bring the gift of health this holiday season. Together we were able to provide flu and COVID shots and educational resources. Here’s to a healthy community!

The Center for Black Women’s Wellness is proud to announce a grant in the amount of $45,000 from the Dental Community Care Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Delta Dental Ins. This grant is part of the Ecosystem of Barriers program, aimed at reducing the barriers that uninsured, underinsured, historically oppressed, or underserved people face. CBWW is thrilled to receive this support, which will support the screening for basic needs, allow us to address common barriers to care, such as transportation and essential needs, and improve care for more patients. Another amazing annual health fair in the books! We are so tremendously grateful for the sponsors, vendors, and partners who participated in the Health Fair last Saturday, including Northside Hospital, the The Links, Incorporated, Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, and many more. Most of all, thanks to the COMMUNITY who came out and showed support. Hundreds participated and benefited from free health screenings, educational workshops and resources. We thank you! #community

The 2024 Numbers to Big to Ignore luncheon was an amazing event, supporting The Atlanta Women's Foundation. The event featured special guest, Molly Shannon, and raised much needed support for organizations that benefit women and girls. A very special thank you to Kaiser Permanente for the invite and for investing in our women.
