Prime office rents for Europe rose by 8.4% year-over-year as occupiers maintained their preference for the highest quality buildings. Office leasing volumes in the region increased by 5.1% year-over-year in, while completions of 8 million sq ft and net absorption of 4.7 million sq ft led to a marginal increase in the vacancy rate to 8.49% from 8.45% in Q2. Vacancy rates appear to have peaked or almost peaked in many major markets.
