Our CEO Ruchir Jha is speaking at SREday San Francisco 2024 Q4! Join him on November 8 for a day full of Site Reliability, DevOps and Cloud! Topic will be: How to measure the ROI of your Observability Stack? This talk will address how observability costs, now 20-30% of total cloud spend, can rise without increasing revenue, as vendors charge by data ingested. We'll focus on measuring ROI, best practices for cost control, and using open standards like OpenTelemetry. Additionally, we'll explore how to productize usage visibility and promote a culture of observability across engineering teams. 10x your Observability ROI for any vendor stack
About us
Cardinal’s mission is to empower organizations to maximize the value of their Observability investments. In pursuit of this mission, our first launch is a vendor-agnostic Observability FinOps product, powered by OpenTelemetry, designed to work with most Observability providers, including self-managed deployments. By installing Cardinal’s OpenTelemetry Collector, organizations can instantly get deep insights into their Observability spend patterns and cost hotspots, along with automated budget management, smart recommendations, and one-click actions to reduce costs by up to 50%. While telemetry is sampled or aggregated en-route to existing Observability providers to reduce costs, no data is ever lost – 100% of that data is retained in the organization’s own private Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, or Azure Blob Storage bucket, which can be restored at any time, as-needed.

"CardinalHQ - Backed by Science, Explained by AI" 🙌 - Michael quipped as were doing a demo last week. It's very common while troubleshooting, to find a wonky looking metric and be missing the tribal knowledge around which tags to slice and dice by, and where to look next to get to the root cause! We are seeing that AI is helping with dramatically improving Mean Time To Understand the current state of the system, by explaining what is it that you are looking at. But to get there, we need some good ole 'RAG-in' first! In the example below as the user highlights a "spike", Cardinal computes outlier cohorts that are the biggest contributors to this spike. It doesn't stop there, it discovers joins with other metrics that showed abnormal behavior along those same dimensions & their values in the same timeframe. Chip (our AI Head of Troubleshooting) comes in at the tail end and explains what the statistical analysis found and removes the need to manually read every chart and the nature of the correlation found. We believe that Observability's AI outcome is NOT a ChatBot that you need to prompt, rather the AI should prompt you based on hard facts that it harvested from the data and shine a light on where to look next! PS: Chip loves Cardinality, after all she is a Cardinal herself! https://lnkd.in/ggKwk27y
