A new AI hub is launching in MA! As a member of the AI Strategic Task Force, I'm thrilled to see our vision for the AI Hub, launched by Governor Maura Healey become a reality! This effort is based on recommendations from the Task Force. The Hub will make MA a global leader in applied AI innovation! Here's what makes this Hub a game-changer: ● It will address crucial challenges by leveraging AI to tackle issues like healthcare, climate change, and life sciences. ● It's built on collaboration, bringing together government, industry, academia, and startups to create a thriving, inclusive AI ecosystem. ● It prioritizes equity, ensuring everyone benefits from AI through ethical development and deployment of this transformative technology. The Hub will be established at the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MassTech) and will leverage the $100 million allocated in the $4 billion Mass Leads Act. It will also partner with the Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center (MGHPCC) to ensure access to #sustainable high-performance computing. I'm proud of the Task Force's work and excited to see the groundbreaking advancements emerge from the Massachusetts AI Hub! With experience across the #Transportation, #Energy, #Semiconductor, and #Space industries, he has worked on private engineering teams for the founders of SpaceX, @ hyperloop and Google and led critical projects at Blue Origin including payload development for Orbital Reef, the future replacement for the ISS.
