#BusinessVoicesofAlabama Huntingdon College continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the South’s premier pre-professional institutions. With a 170-year tradition of producing leaders in business, healthcare, law, education, and ministry, the college attracts students from across Alabama and the South. This fall, Huntingdon welcomed nearly 900 students and 170 faculty and staff members, reflecting steady enrollment growth and the enduring appeal of its mission. As a “student-centered” leader, President Anthony Leigh is deeply committed to guiding students and ensuring their success extends beyond the classroom. He explains the vital connection between higher education and Alabama’s future: “BCA members share my love for Alabama and my desire for more and more young people to want to make Alabama their home following their higher education experience,” he said. Leigh emphasizes that strong employment opportunities across the state are essential to ensuring graduates can return home and make meaningful contributions to their communities. Anchored by its historic campus in Montgomery and deeply connected to the state it serves, Huntingdon College is shaping the next generation of professionals while fostering Alabama’s economic growth.

Last week, we were excited to join the Shoals Chamber of Commerce for their Evening for Progress where our Executive Vice President, Clay Scofield, spoke about our priorities and our mission to make Alabama the most business-friendly state in the nation. Congressman Robert Aderholt gave an update from Washington, D.C. and was recognized for his support of the business community. It's always great to be in Northwest Alabama and we look forward to being back soon!
