This morning the Underwriting Department at Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company stopped by with a food donation of 1,500 lbs, that their department had collected!!! THANK YOU for blessing those that are hungry here in our community!

Now is the time to plan and prepare for winter. You can: 👉 Set the thermostat. When temperatures dip below freezing, keep a building’s temperature above 55 degrees. This includes maintaining a consistent temperature for unused portions of the building. 👉 Insulate pipes. Inspect attics, basements, and other places where pipes run. You may need to better insulate those areas or fit exposed pipes with easy-to-install pipe sleeves. Crawl spaces and riser rooms may be at higher risk for freezing pipes. 👉 Service your generator. Winter storms over the past two years have tested the power grid. Now is the time to test and service your generator, well before a major storm causes downed power lines and inaccessible roads. 👉 Check buildings regularly. During extremely cold weather, consider checking buildings more frequently. Designate two or three people to be on call in case one individual is out of town or can’t access the property.
