BBF Commits Over $1M in Aid to Communities Impacted by Helene and Milton. In our latest Global Relief Quarterly, we share BBF's disaster response to Hurricanes Helene and Milton, combining data-driven planning with on-the-ground partnerships to deliver critical aid: In Florida, mobile food pantries from Second Harvest of the Big Bend brought meals directly to impacted areas. Additionally, communities in Central Florida were assisted by Oceana Community Health. In North Carolina, BBF grants helped ABCCM Medical Ministry replace lost medications, assist displaced veterans, and maintain clinic operations during the crisis. The Hunger and Health Coalition delivered food and emergency prescriptions like insulin to rural areas, while managing increased needs for EpiPens after the storms. This holiday season, you can help us continue providing life-saving support to communities in need. Together, we can build hope and resilience for those recovering from disasters.
