We would like to take a moment to recognize retiring Vice President of Services for Older Adults Maria Rivera. Maria joined BronxWorks, then-Citizens Advice Bureau, in 1999. She started at the Morris Older Adult Center and worked her way up to Department Director in 2008. In her time at BronxWorks, she was instrumental in the expansion of the Older Adult Services department. Thanks in part to her efforts, BronxWorks now operates seven older adult centers and three social services offices for seniors across the Bronx. Thank you, Maria, for your tireless work for the last 26 years, and congratulations on your upcoming retirement! We will miss you!
