ICSC NYC Recap: Productive few days with Brian Brisky & Tiffany Trinidad meeting with new and familiar faces. A few takeaways from the show; - Mortgage brokers are worth their weight in gold right now. Finding the right capital structure is extremely important. A lot of "war" stories from brokers about deals imploding due to financing. -For the time being, the worst is behind us in the investment sales world. The seller-buyer pricing gap continues to move in the right direction, but still a ways to go there. There is certainly optimism for 2025. -Owners of multi tenant deals couldn't be happier with the leasing activity and a vast majority of owners talked about how low their overall vacancy is across their portfolio. -Small bay multi tenant retail continues to be a topic of conversation and interest. Finding deals with the appropriate yield and great underlying real estate has been hard to come by. Met with plenty of capable buyers who are looking for multi tenant retail deals. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have something you're looking to move. -NYC dive bar scene is a 10/10. Being from Wisconsin, I never thought I would see somewhere rival it.
