The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for our New Full-Service Interim Housing Shelter was a beautiful and moving celebration. Bridge to Home is thrilled to finally offer safe shelter for families experiencing homelessness in our community, in addition to the individuals we already serve! 💚 Over 100 SCV community members gathered to hear inspiring words from our Bridge to Home visionaries, elected officials, and community leaders... those who made this day possible! Stories about Bridge to Home’s early beginnings as a winter shelter, personal experiences, and challenges faced along the way were shared with tears of joy in the realization that we were all standing on the steps of a dream come true. Bridge to Home’s Executive Director, Chris Najarro and Niki Feast-Williams, Director of Interim Housing, took a final walk-through of the new shelter. Such an exciting and memorable time for Bridge to Home!🙌 Chris and Niki beamed with JOY as they walked every square inch of the property, including the roof!😄 In less than one month, our doors will open, providing interim housing for 60 individuals and eight families. 💚

This year's Soup for the Soul Gala was a beautiful and special evening celebrating our clients, volunteers, and community contributors! We had almost 300 guests fill the Hyatt Regency Valencia, all with the same commitment and fire for Bridge to Home. The evening was filled with an incredible energy and we thank each and every friend for joining us and being the Help, Hope, and Change in our valley. 💚🙏💚 Every aspect of the event was crafted with meaning and a thoughtful heart from the centerpieces that were little villages sitting on blocks of wood that were taken from our new shelter, to the soup mixtures that were given as gifts, to the messages given by our community leaders and partners.
