Biotechnology Research
Building a platform to link expertise and research infrastructures in Sweden to advance biological product development
About us
BRIDGE Sweden is creating a platform to bridge the gap between expertise and research infrastructures in Sweden, supporting the development and commercialization of biological products. Its goal is to strengthen Swedish life science and advance the next phase of biological product development. This is done in collaboration between SciLifeLab's Drug Development and Discovery (DDD) platform, Testa Center, Lund Stem Cell Center and pre-GMP Facility at Lund University, ALIS (Association of Life Science Incubators) and STUNS. Case projects will be selected to pilot the platform and open activities will be organized to share knowledge and insights in development of biological products. If you want to discuss cell line development or collaborations to strengthen this platform, do not hesitate to contact us. BRIDGE Sweden is funded by SweLife through Vinnova from 2024 to 2026. We're excited to finally have UP.SIGHT from CYTENA set up for the BRIDGE project in the laboratory at SciLifeLab Drug Discovery & Development platform 🎉 This cutting-edge cell dispenser allows us to rapidly and accurately dispense thousands of single colonies in a 384-well format. What does that mean for our work? In short: enhanced capabilities to screen and select high-producing cell lines, which is crucial for supporting our pilot projects! Having this technology in place is a huge step forward and a key milestone in our journey. With UP.SIGHT on our side, we’re ready to accelerate progress and look forward to achieving some exciting results 🚀 Testa Center Lund Stem Cell Center STUNS Life science Swelife Vinnova Alexandra Patriksson Niklas Berndt Thalén Esmeralda Woestenenk Malin Wiederholm Anisha Khan Elias Uhlin
