If you are looking for the perfect last minute gift, look no further than a donation to Books Are Wings during our 11th Annual Gift of Literacy Campaign. By giving in honor of a person in your life, your support can help to fill in the gaps in the home libraries of young readers and families across the state. We partner with teachers, schools and community centers to provide literacy resources that can support reading skills. As a result, each year we get an average of 60,000 books out into communities around Rhode Island. Give the gift of literacy this holiday season: https://bit.ly/4fhIVLz Thank you to The Slate Studio for their incredible generosity in creating this video.

This past week we enjoyed a read aloud with students at a book party event at Curvin-McCabe Elementary School in Pawtucket. During these programs, each child takes home two books for their home library and we have a community read aloud. These programs provide an opportunity for young readers to practice their literacy skills and have books to share with family to support their home learning! #literacy #childrensbooks
