📢 We are ending the year with an exciting announcement! Today, we announced that we invested in Phoenix Tailings, a pioneering company dedicated to creating a zero-waste, zero-emission future through clean refining and metals production. Specifically, they have made a technological breakthrough that will significantly advance the sustainable refining of REEs, which is critical for securing the supply chain for many clean energy technologies. Demand for REEs is increasing, but supply is threatened by increasing export restrictions on key materials and technology. We look forward to partnering with Nicholas Myers, Tomás Villalón Jr., PhD, Michelle Chao, and Anthony Balladon to scale the company's rare earth processing operations to produce ~200 tons of rare earth metals annually.
