2024 in a nutshell: Over 200 Baltimoreans enrolled in free career training through our Train Up program 💪🏽 Offered over 10K youth jobs through #YouthWorks Facilitated 1,931 job placements in our Employer Services Division👏🏽 888 job readiness services were delivered at Community Job Hubs across Baltimore! 💼 Our re-entry center supported 2,162 justice involved individuals and placed over 400 in full-time jobs! Our Financial Empowerment Center has eliminated $3.17 MILLION in non-mortgage debt since 2021 💰 and much, much more! 🤩 We can’t wait for 2025! Through the Baltimore City Mayor's Office of Employment Development Let's Ride to Work program, created in partnership with Lyft, we’ve made it easier for newly employed Baltimore residents to succeed in their roles and to support their families. One participant shared: “[Let’s Ride to Work] helped me save and get to work on time! Because of this, I was able to save for my car. I am forever grateful. With this help, I passed my probation period and even saved $600.” This story reflects the heart of our mission: connecting Baltimore’s workforce to opportunities and delivering economic justice.
