The inaugural BlueForge Alliance (BFA) Industry Day, hosted by Austal USA at The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research Conference Center (IALR) in Danville, VA, on November 19, was a resounding success! This event showcased the advanced manufacturing mission of the Maritime Industrial Base Program (MIB) and BFA, highlighting the critical role of additive manufacturing and technology advancements in the 1+2 submarine mission (1 Columbia class; 2 Virginia class) and in-service engagement.
