❤️ Amazing turnout at yesterday's Bits in Bio meetup argenx - a packed house with nearly 100 digital & biotech enthusiasts! 🎉 ➡️ We learned guiding principles on making sure that Generative AI tools delivery quality and just work, then went on to explore groundbreaking protein design using RFDiffusion & ProteinMPNN. ➡️ I learned that the protein design toolbox is alpha-helical, and that beta-sheet structures remain very hard to predict. 💡 ➡️ We were treated with an amazing storytelling demonstration on the discovery of nanobodies. What makes nanobodies unique, and how they are used in medicine today. ➡️ The energy in the room was electric, and you can still get lost in keynote-to-powerpoint translation in 2024.
