We have had a busy few months here at Benuvia. Today we announced a licensing agreement with Avernus Pharma to bring SYNDROS® CII (dronabinol) to the Gulf Cooperation Council Region. Under the terms of the agreement, Avernus will become the exclusive supplier of SYNDROS® following approval by the Gulf Central Committee for Drug Registration. Our CEO Terry Novak commented, "This partnership with Avernus represents a significant milestone in our mission to make SYNDROS® available to more patients worldwide. Today we announced our first out-licensing partnership with Medra Brasil to bring SYNDROS® (dronabinol) oral solution, CII to the people of Brazil. Under the terms of the agreement, Medra Brasil will become the exclusive supplier for SYNDROS® following approval by the Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency. This is an important milestone for Benuvia as we expand our global partnerships to further commercialize SYNDROS® and all our cannabinoid and psychedelic products and services. We are excited to announce that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs will be conducting a drug clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Benuvia’s SYNDROS® (dronabinol) oral solution, CII in Veterans with chronic neuropathic pain. The study will enroll 320 participants over the next three years at five VA sites in the U.S. in a randomized Phase II, 4-arm clinical trial. This collaboration with the VA represents a significant milestone in our commitment to advanced pharmaceutical research and development and could provide new beneficial FDA-approved medicines to our nation’s Veterans and patients suffering from unmet medical needs. Benuvia’s CEO Terry Novak was quoted in the The New York Times yesterday about the company’s strategic partnership with Bright Green Corporation. In August, we signed an agreement with Bright Green to advance the production of high-quality, cGMP-compliant Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) across various therapeutic areas.
