A whole-foods approach to support hormone balance

About us

As we started to open up to each other about our health journeys and talking to women about their challenges with hormonal imbalances, we realized there is a huge problem that no one is talking about. Rampant hormonal imbalances are not normal, yet almost everyone experiences them. So often, women are given birth control, pain medication, or told that they might have difficulty conceiving without looking at all of the lifestyle and nutritional factors that contribute to hormonal havoc. We realized that it was time to do something about this epidemic of hormonal imbalances in an affordable, accessible, and natural way. And that’s why we created beeya - to offer a food-based approach to whole-body health.

  • The toxic load on humans is higher than ever. Over 80,000 man-made chemicals are lingering in our environment, making their way into our food, water, and bodies. And let’s not forget the endocrine-disrupting chemicals we put directly on our skin through personal care products. 😳 Dr. Mindy Pelz breaks down how this exposure affects our liver, gut, and thyroid, stressing that whole-body health goes far beyond just calorie intake in today’s world.

  • 🎙️ We’ve talked to the experts, and these are some of the life-changing habits we’re taking into the new year for happy hormones and better health… ➡️ Who should we talk to next in 2025?

The good news? We can do something about it! 👇 Food is the foundation of health, and it doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, keeping it simple is often the best approach. Focus on minimally processed foods and whole ingredients—think fresh produce, protein, and healthy fats you’ll find around the perimeter of the grocery store. Metabolic health expert Casey Means, MD recommends including these 5 food categories in your meals for balanced blood sugar, happier hormones, and more energy: 🍓 Antioxidants 🥑 Fiber 🥛 Probiotics 🍗 Protein 🐟 Omega-3s Want more tips like this? We’ve had the privilege of chatting with Dr. Casey Means about all things metabolic health not once… but TWICE!
