About us

At Beam, we’re on a mission to shift $10B from brands to nonprofits by creating what loyalty would look like if it were designed for today’s customers. In the last year, we’ve funded 7M+ meals for food-insecure communities, the prevention of 2M+ lbs of CO2, and more. Across our network of 130+ mission-driven brands like Instacart, Roots Canada, and Parade, we let you make ~1% of every purchase go to a high-impact nonprofit you choose from a curated set reflecting what the brand stands for–at no extra cost. As customers see how their dollars are going towards goals, like funding the removal of 10K lbs of plastic from the ocean, Beam builds emotional buy-in. We lift cart completion rate by 17%, average order value by 15% and convert 30% more customers to make a second purchase within 90 days–building higher value relationships than flash sales, especially with millennials and Gen Z.     Possibly the BEST Wrapped I have seen this year. Beam Impact is one of the most inspirational and powerful companies I have had the pleasure of crossing paths with. They have somehow cracked the code on genuinely making a difference (one of Gen-Z / Alpha's biggest deciding factors when when choosing products and building brand loyalty), while ALSO helping brands build ROI and bolster their revenue.   • Continuing our partner spotlight, we’re excited to share that we’ve recently launched with Crown Affair Crown Affair is a vegan, ethically-sourced, cruelty-free and sulfate+paraben free hair care brand that celebrates hair care as a practice of self-care. We’ve collaborated with their incredible team to curate a set of nonprofits that reflect the Crown Affair mission, and we’re thrilled that customers shopping on their site now have the opportunity to donate a part of their purchase (at no extra cost) to initiatives ranging from gender equity, arts empowerment, mental health, and hair loss support. Crown Affair joins 200+ mission driven brands on Beam, including leading Beauty/Hair Care brands like Tarte Cosmetics, Glow Recipe, Starface, Ceremonia, and Pattern Beauty. With these partners and more, we’re consistently seeing that Beam is driving a 30% lift in repeat purchases as customers can visualize how their impact will grow each time they return to shop again.   • It’s been a while since we’ve last posted and we wanted to share some exciting updates from the Beam Team! We’ve gone live with hundreds of incredible leading DTC brands and we’re thrilled to start a weekly spotlight, starting with our newest live partner OLIPOP PBC! Olipop is one of the fastest growing and most popular better-for-you soda brands on the market– their naturally sweetened prebiotic beverages are a favorite at Beam HQ! Starting today, customers shopping on the Olipop site are able to make a percentage of their purchase (at no extra cost) go to vetted nonprofit initiatives curated by the Olipop team, like funding the delivery of 10,000 servings of fresh produce to families in the US via Partnership for a Healthier America. Olipop joins 200+ mission driven brands on Beam, including leading F&B brands like GEM, Stumptown, and Ora Organics. With these partners and more, we’re consistently seeing that Beam is driving an 8% lift in top-line subscription revenue as customers can visualize how their impact will grow with each renewal.
