The Workday Security Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the security configuration of Workday HR and Financial applications. This role involves maintaining custom security groups, roles, domains, and policies while ensuring compliance with data privacy standards. The specialist will collaborate with Business Analysts to implement security requirements, oversee system activity, and support audits and system updates. Primary Responsibilities: - Configure and manage security settings, including user profiles, roles, domains, business process security, integrations, and report security. Maintain a security matrix and ensure compliance with data privacy standards and organizational policies. - Lead security administration efforts, including configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday systems. -Review Workday updates/releases, assess new features, and determine their impact on security processes. - Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues and access problems, ensuring adherence to best practices. - Implement and manage role-based access controls to meet organizational needs. - Manage domain and business process security policies, workflows, and updates. - Document security incidents and resolutions to improve future response strategies. - Update security roles to align with evolving business requirements and regulatory standards. - Assist with configuring secure authentication protocols, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). - Coordinate quarterly Workday updates, audits, validations, and system improvements. - Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to senior executives. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field. Six years of IT experience, including four years specializing in Workday Security. Equivalent combinations of education and job-specific experience may substitute on a year-over-year basis. #hiring2024 #urgenthiring #IT
