Did you know that Be Strong Families works in community violence prevention? Recently, the Community Violence Intervention and Prevention (CVIP) program at the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control selected five evidence-based practices aimed at reducing gun violence. Be Strong is one of them! We’re using Cafés and our Put Down the Guns program to educate and connect youth and their families to keep more people safe from firearms.
