We are thrilled to share Hill Ward Henderson, one of Tampa Bay's largest law firms, has re-committed to Bank of America Plaza with a lease renewal totaling 83,000 square feet, including a 4,500-square-foot expansion. This significant renewal highlights the prestige and appeal of this iconic #office tower and serves as a testament to the strength of #Tampa’s downtown business district. Several of our trophy assets are located within easy walking distance of landmark sports venues, such as Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and Amalie Arena in Tampa. Rivergate Tower in Tampa is not only a home for companies - it’s a home for bees. We’ve partnered with Bee Downtown to host two urban beehives, contributing to local pollination and fostering tenant engagement. We recently hosted a beeswax candle making event to educate our tenants about their winged neighbors and the ways they support the local environment. 

Banyan goes pink with Poppi! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and, at Banyan Street Capital, we are focused on raising both awareness and funds for this important cause throughout our portfolio. Banyan donated $1 for each Poppi soda given to tenants at our event to the Pink Fund, which provides financial assistance to breast cancer patients, covering nonmedical bills. Office tenants were able to enjoy a strawberry lemon Poppi soda as a sweet show of support for the fighters, admiration for the survivors, honor for the taken and ultimately, hope for a cure. It’s not every day your building becomes a beer. Rivergate Tower is an iconic fixture of Tampa’s skyline due to its unique shape, and Creative Loafing Tampa (with JDub's Brewing Company and Channelside Brewing) created a “Beer Can Building Beer” to honor this property in our portfolio. Coworking is hot in Miami, and we’re excited to welcome Quest Workspaces to Doral Center, where future coworkers will enjoy a variety of flexible office spaces, a private outdoor rooftop terrace and more. This is Quest and Banyan’s third collaboration with the two executing on Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa locations previously.
