BallerTV recently broke new ground in live sports coverage! This month, we were proud to stream Spike Out XXIV, a volleyball event for deaf athletes hosted by the New Mexico School for the Deaf. The experience was elevated with something truly special: for the first time, our stream featured a sign language interpreter providing real-time commentary. This wasn’t just about volleyball; it was about creating a more inclusive viewing experience and connecting communities in a way that had never been done before at BallerTV.

This Friday, BallerTV’s Sandeep H. will be speaking at 2024 Silver Waves Media Future of NIL Power Conference — the country's largest gathering of the most influential people across the NIL landscape.

Two years ago, at our annual BallerTV Summit, we had the honor of hosting Paralympian long jumper Trenten Merrill as our special guest speaker. He moved us all with his incredible story of determination, grit, and passion. Now, the moment has come for Trenten to shine on the world stage once again. This Wednesday, he’ll be competing in the Men’s Long Jump - T64 Final at the Paralympics. We couldn’t be more excited to cheer him on. Best of luck Trenten! A cross-functional group from our product, engineering, and autonomy teams just spent a week out in the field testing and polishing some major updates coming to BallerTV that we’re excited to share later this year!

On Monday Caitlin Clark was been selected #1 overall in the WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) Draft by the Indiana Fever. When we spoke with Caitlin at Nike Girls EYBL in 2019, we knew she was special. As she said in the interview, she just played with "swag." What we didn't anticipate was that she'd then go on to become the face of women's basketball, shattering dozens of NCAA and Big Ten records in her storied college career at Iowa - most notably the most points scored all-time by any college player (men’s or women’s) in NCAA history, with 3,951 points. And while Caitlin’s incredible scoring skills often dominated her highlights, in our interview she told us that the part of her game she took the most pride in was her passing. It’s no wonder that she also led the NCAA in assists in her last three seasons and tallied 1,144 career assists - third-most all-time. She helped elevate Women's College Basketball and we can't wait to watch her leave her mark on the WNBA as well. #WNBADraft
