Please join us in thanking Lew Johnson for his 17 years of service to Babcock Power and congratulating him on his retirement. Lew has been a key member of the Quality Department, where he became the ASME Program Manager in 2017. During his time with the company, he successfully led two ASME/NB Joint Reviews and spent several years in China working with Sunco to help develop their operations and meet Babcock’s quality standards. Lew’s career with Babcock Power began in 2007 after an interview at the Riley Shop in Erie, PA, where he connected with Dennis Yarborough, the Quality Director in Worcester at the time. They had a discussion, and he said I have a job for you in Worcester. Lew traveled to Worcester for an interview and the rest is history. As Lew steps into retirement, he looks forward to spending more time on his favorite hobbies, including bowling, golfing, and drag racing. We wish him all the best in this next chapter and thank him for his many contributions to Babcock Power.
