Over the past five weeks, our dedicated Rail Engineering and Civils teams in Ashford have worked diligently on the Isle of Grain to enhance infrastructure reliability. The teams have addressed several essential tasks, including rectifying failed troughing routes, pulling in new telecom cables, conducting vegetation clearance, and clearing trough routes of ballast and spoil. Additionally, they have performed overall maintenance to ensure the routes remain in optimal condition. These improvements ensure safe and reliable operations across these critical routes.
