A huge "Thank you!" to Karen Collins, PCC, CPCC, for leading a fantastic learning event about networking for our chapter last night! Here's a snapshot of what we learned: 🔵 The purpose of networking is to get, share, or learn something, which means we are networking all the time, even when we might not think we are 🔵 Starting (with questions you will enjoy asking and conversing about) and ending strong (with reflection and action) can turn an average and uncomfortable networking experience into an amazing one 🔵 We're often taught that networking is a means to an end, and it can feel uncomfortable and burdensome for many, but an adjustment of our perceptions, beliefs, and how we approach the situation can make all the difference We are so grateful to Karen for choosing to spend her time with us and to our engaged and wonderful attendees for putting themselves out there and learning more about networking! Our next event is right around the corner! 📅 Robert Snyder is joining us for a webinar on October 29th from 6:00 - 7:30 pm! Choose Your Own Culture: Companies and conferences are giving more and more attention to the topic of culture. This is great! However, this vital topic is vulnerable to ambiguity. Cultures are not improving quickly enough, and there might be countless versions of what a healthy culture is. This session aims to minimize ambiguity about how to adopt a culture of high discipline and high empathy. Participants start with a menu of a dozen culture traits (scroll down to see and expand menu). The audience will choose the culture traits most important to them, the speaker will present corresponding templates for discussion, and everyone will react, comment, and discuss. The session is as interactive as the audience is in the mood for. This event is open to ACMP Colorado Chapter members and non-members. **ACMP Colorado Chapter members will receive a food delivery gift card to use during this event.
