If you hear a loud hissing from your container or it empties too fast, stay away from the container. Many people may be planning to travel and meet friends and family this holiday season. We think this is a good time to send a reminder that family caregivers can prevent infections and stay safe during this season by remembering to properly wash their hands. Here are some tips for properly washing your hands: - Wet hands with clean water and then apply soap. - Create a lather by rubbing your hands together. - Wash under your nails, between fingers and the backs of your hands, even around your wrist. - Wash your hands for least 20 seconds. One trick to making sure you do this is to sing or hum the happy birthday song twice. - If you don't have soap and water readily available, use a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands.
