We join the millions worldwide who are mourning the death of President Jimmy Carter. Of his countless accomplishments we are grateful for his signing of the Staggers Act in 1980, which sparked the growth of the short line railroad industry as we know it today. But beyond that, he worked tirelessly to make the world a better place. He will be deeply missed.
