Collaboration for a just transition: ✨ Highlights from the #AutomotiveRegionsAlliance annual conference On November 28-29, regional leaders from across Europe gathered in Monza 🇮🇹 for the 3rd Annual Conference of the Automotive Regions Alliance to tackle the challenges and opportunities of the green and digital transition in the automotive sector. Key takeaways? ✅ Monza Declaration adopted: A clear call for stronger EU support to balance competitiveness with climate ambitions, emphasizing the power of education and vocational training. ✅ The right skills are essential: Equipping workers with the skills needed for the green and digital shift is key to sustaining industrial jobs and innovation while addressing pressures on education systems. ✅ Stronger together: Celebrating one year of impactful collaboration between ASA, regional leaders, and EU networks Innovation, collaboration, skilled workforce, and talent on the regional level are at the heart of a sustainable European automotive future with high-quality industrial jobs and opportunities. Thanks to all who contributed to this event. Let’s keep driving forward! 💡 What's next on our skills and workforce agenda? In the ASA position paper, we are calling for concrete systematic actions for implementation – like the proposed Automotive Mobility Ecosystem Academy – to pave the way forward and build on the basis of the established Pact for Skills partnership collaboration in the Automotive-Mobility ecosystem. 🔗 Links in the comments
