We hosted our 11th Annual Aortic Boot Camp at our Atlanta, GA campus. The course included topics ranging from Aortic Valve Replacement to the Ross Procedure. Today, Artivion announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted a Humanitarian Device Exemption (HDE) for the use of the AMDS Hybrid Prosthesis (“AMDS”) in acute DeBakey Type I dissections in the presence of malperfusion.
