Happy to report that our company has been selected by the Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC) to be a part of their Advanced Manufacturing Clearing House program. In this program, working with MDIC and with guidance from the FDA, we will provide more detail to the medical device industry about AL's proprietary real-time operating system running on our devices to enable the building of digital twins of users joints, and what quantifiable improvements this approach creates for patients, providers, payors, and manufacturers. Overall goal is to show why this development can enable a new generation of medical devices offering improved task/activity-specific therapy and higher-resolution patient feedback without negatively impacting device cost, security risk, or quality of care. The work to be done in this project coincides nicely with existing goals for earning regulatory clearance and market validation for KneeStim while also opening up new possibilities for our RTOS' use in all kinds of medical devices. We've long talked about applying our base technology to other conditions and in other verticals - this is a definite step toward that future.
