  • The one-size-fits-all financial model is a thing of the past. Technology is finally providing the ability to create strategies as unique as the individuals they serve. This idea is at the heart of our latest episode, featuring Samir Kaji, CEO of Allocate. Samir has 20 years of expertise in venture capital and private equity and talks to Arta CEO Caesar Sengupta about the trends he sees shaping finance and technology—and what it means for retail investors. 🎙️ Here’s a glimpse of what they covered: The rise of hyper-personalization in wealth management and how it can benefit investors. How private markets can provide portfolio diversification and new opportunities. Samir’s lessons on resilience, risk-taking, and building a purpose-driven financial future (i.e. the human side of thinking through career and wealth building). This Live Long and Prosper episode is packed with actionable insights for the modern investor. We hope you’ll tune in wherever you enjoy podcasts - also streaming on Youtube. 🖖🎧

  • Arta CMO, Melissa-Ann Chan, was featured in Ad Age discussing how Arta is leveraging AI to expand access to private banking. In the piece, she highlights her vision for 2025: scaling globally, fostering financial literacy, and making wealth management accessible to more high-income earners. She also reflects on the widespread need for accessible financial tools: “We found that we all had this problem and our friends had this problem, and not just people in tech. It was our doctor friends and our lawyers friends and our media friends. Fast-forward to launching Arta and when we get client feedback, one surprising thing is how many people working in financial services have this problem.” Curious about Arta’s role in this shift? 📖 Read the full story: https://lnkd.in/g3VvBgPs

Editor-in-Chief, LinkedIn Storyteller. I’ll help you find your True North.

My last post for the year is dedicated to a long read for The Peak Singapore that sits at the intersection of access and financial democracy. The man planning to make home there where the ellipses meet is Caesar Sengupta, co-founder and CEO of Arta Finance, a platform built to democratise wealth management using AI and technology. But what captured my attention at its high-octane, super immersive launch in October at Pan Pacific Orchard was their partnership with Co-Axis. Now this I can relate. I know Co-Axis. I attended the launch and I wrote a news piece on it, dubbing it the ‘Shopee of Philanthropy’. But what business does this philanthropic innovation have with a swanky, fresh-out-of-the-box wealth platform? What inspired Caeser to include this partnership in a wealth management platform? And when I sat down with Caesar one quiet Monday morning at the office of Arta, it didn’t take long for the former Google VP to open up about his philosophies of wealth, access, financial courage, and financial democracy.  *** “Without intervention, Caesar warns, inequality will deepen. “We’ll end up with a scenario where 10% of the population — those who can afford these tools — will know how to navigate the future, and the rest will be left behind.” He reflects on finance as one of the key battlegrounds for this fight. “Modern finance has become incredibly sophisticated, but finance and technology still haven’t truly come together in a way that makes these systems accessible and scalable for everyone.” The imbalance, he believes, is deeply unfair. “Why should someone earning $10,000 a year have to pay more in loan interest than someone earning a million?” he questions, his voice rising slightly in frustration. “Why is it that if I deposit a million dollars into a bank, I can make that money work far harder for me than someone who deposits $1,000?” *** It is this deep sense of righting wrongs and recalibrating balance that makes this interview with Caesar an illuminating one. In the one hour and eight minutes I spent with him, we traversed a myriad of topics: scepticism from finance gatekeepers (“Yes, if you have the money, by all means, go ahead and have a team. I’m not trying to stop anyone from doing that”), generational differences in financial understanding (“My daughter’s clued in. She talks about financial concepts she sees on TikTok”), and a demonstration of Arta Finance's AI agent that promises a nuanced human experience. When I turned off my phone recorder, Caesar breathes a sigh of relief. He looks a little weary perhaps not used to being asked deeply philosophical questions on a Monday morning. But in his moment of reprieve as he walked me out, I catch a hint of contentedness, perhaps at having the interview drawn to a close though I choose to believe that it’s because he’s finally able to share the true inspiration behind the creation of Arta Finance. Have a read, please.

  • In a recent article by New York Post, our Chief Insurance Officer Samita Malik shared her expertise on why so many Gen Z adults are experiencing a financial midlife crisis: “This crisis is about more than money; it’s about the control that money represents. Rising costs, stagnant wages, and misleading advice on social media have amplified their anxiety.” Sam emphasizes the importance of older generations listening to Gen Z and offering actionable financial advice to help them build a stable future: “The key to addressing this crisis is to listen to their concerns and provide clear, actionable financial advice, enabling them to establish a solid foundation for growth and long-term stability.” This insight ties into our Gen Z Data Journalism Study, which highlights the growing financial pressures shaping young adults' outlook on life. For all my American friends in high tax states, check out what our Direct Indexing research team Alok Saxena and Caleb Rollins just did. We (Arta Finance) just launched a new algorithm that enhances tax-loss harvesting capabilities significantly. Additionally, it can invest new cash deposits as frequently as daily, so every dollar is working harder– unlike many traditional models that trade every 32 days. Find out more about how direct indexing might help you lower taxes: https://lnkd.in/gt7FKCQk
