𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟯𝗗 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟯𝗗 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 The Tropicana Casino is a part of the Las Vegas story, and it's a place most people know about whether they gamble or even visit Las Vegas. It's going to be replaced by a baseball park, and the building will be completely taken down around October 2024. There's a strong nostalgia when it comes to Old Vegas casinos like the Tropicana, so when something like this gets torn down, a lot of us may feel that something is being lost. 3D laser scanning is one way to help preserve its memory. Arrival 3D had the opportunity to help in this way. Our customer was tasked with dismantling the stained glass, perhaps to be re-assembled elsewhere, and they needed us to capture a detailed and accurate laser scan that they could utilize to make sure everything goes back together properly. We don't know where it is going, but at least we can be sure that wherever it ends up, a piece of the tropicana can be faithfully reconstructed using the 3D laser scan results from Arrival 3D. #tropicana #arrival3d #scan #laserscanning
