"You're conceited" are the words I remembered when I tried to talk about how proud I felt about something I was doing in school... this was a memory that popped in my head many times when I started sharing videos online. It was an emotion that needed to be released so I can speak confidently, as I shared my new business ideas online. That happened in grade school, I know my worth... or did I? It showed up in other ways too; highschool, my jobs. That feeling still lingering in the back of my mind subconsciously... I know I'm not the only one that's felt insecure about speaking good things about themselves. Definitely "normalize talking highly about yourself" but also know who you're speaking around. Also know how to work through those uncomfortable emotions when feelings of self doubt point out your insecurities.
