🚨 IOControl malware is back—and it’s more sophisticated than ever. Initially identified as OrpraCab and QueueCat in 2023, this advanced Linux backdoor has resurfaced in 2024, targeting ARM-based IoT and Linux systems.   At Armis Labs, we’ve been closely monitoring this malware, attributed to CyberAv3ngers. It’s already been deployed in campaigns against critical systems in the U.S. and Israel, including routers, PLCs, firewalls, and SCADA systems.   🛡️ How can you defend against IOControl? · Monitor suspicious domains, ports, and hidden persistence mechanisms. · Implement IoT segmentation and restrict MQTT usage to trusted brokers. · Proactively patch vulnerabilities exploited by this group. 🔗 Read the latest blog to learn more about IOControl, its tactics, and how Armis helps organizations stay ahead of evolving threats: https://lnkd.in/dmS3puzY   #Cybersecurity #ThreatIntelligence #IoTSecurity
