👩⚕️Last week, the Arizona Transition to Practice Program team spent time at San Carlos Apache Healthcare Corporation, one the program’s participating facilities. Site visits allow for the team to meet with the chief nursing officer, site champion, unit leaders, preceptors and new graduate nurses at the facility to discuss current progress and provide recommendations. During the visit, Larisa Solo, BSN, RN, manager, Transition to Practice Program, gained insights from the program participants, including: 👩⚕️The new graduates reported that the mentoring component has been a huge benefit. They have learned there is more to being a nurse from the experiences of their mentors. 🏥The preceptors shared positive feedback about one of the clinical resources offered by the program: “At San Carlos Apache Healthcare, we could be working in the ED, inpatient or the clinics seeing a varied patient population. Lippincott has helped us navigate that.” Applications are being accepted for future cohorts. Learn more and apply: https://lnkd.in/g5NAJtrc
