Arch-Con’s Social Committee hosted a food drive in the office and partnered with Faithbridge Church and Bridging For Tomorrow to benefit families in need this holiday season. Bridging for Tomorrow is a community center and food pantry in Northwest Houston where we delivered donations from our food drive, created boxes and handed them out to families, ensuring they got the items they needed. So fulfilling to give back to others this holiday season. 

Just in time for the Christmas season! We recently completed a 10,000-square-foot interior renovation for Faithbridge Church’s East Building Sanctuary and West Building Kid’s Wing. We had the pleasure of building Faithbridge Children’s Ministry Building in 2014 and are so happy to come back in this capacity and ‘renew’ this community in Northwest Houston alongside Studio RED Architects. https://lnkd.in/ggyNwC_J

Progress is pumping at Modern Heart and Vascular Institute directly off Interstate 69 east of George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Glass installation is well underway, interior build-outs are starting on the first and second floor and site paving is nearly complete. This 105,000-square-foot, four-story medical office building designed by Browne McGregor Architects Inc will offer vital services for the cardiovascular system. What an honor! The Coffee House at West End is an Urban Land Institute 2025 Development of Distinction Awards finalist in the Historical Redevelopment category. Originally built in the 1930s, Studio RED Architects preserved the historic elements of this 9,728-square-foot core and shell building by incorporating the original masonry and timber structure into the design. The renovation provides members of West End Church an additional assembly space as well as a coffee shop and rental venue for the surrounding community.

An impressive panel and discussion at Bisnow's recent Houston Construction Trends and Innovations event. Arch-Con President Jason M. Cooper served as a panelist alongside industry leaders talking about the challenges with Houston's energy provider, skilled labor, credit markets and supply chains as well as positive improvements on the horizon.

Our annual Thanksgiving Potluck was a festive feast! From homemade family recipes to personal pies to celebrate our November birthdays, we’re thankful for great food, amazing coworkers and endless laughs. Happy Thanksgiving from our Arch-Con family. Gobble! Gobble! 🦃  

We celebrated breaking ground on a medical office building and surgery center in Katy, Texas for NexCore Group and Surgery Ventures, powered by HCA Healthcare. Designed by BSA LifeStructures, this 24,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will be anchored on the first floor by a 12,800-square-foot ambulatory surgery center in a joint venture between Surgery Ventures, powered by HCA Healthcare and a group of local physicians. The second floor will include Digestive Health Associates, an affiliate of GI Alliance, and Houston Colon, an affiliate of HCA Houston Healthcare. Talk about building big hearts and brilliant minds! We are envisioning educators and families walking into these doors next school year! YES Prep Brays Oaks Elementary is progressing wonderfully thanks to our awesome Community Division and team of subcontractors. This 72,000-square-foot school is designed by Element Architects + Interiors and marks YES Prep Public Schools’ 10th elementary school. Upon opening in August, they will welcome grades PK4 through 2nd and grow a grade level every year. https://lnkd.in/ggyNwC_J
