We’re collaborating with Cognata and Microsoft to enable users to test and validate ADAS/AV automotive sensors in a virtual environment that mimics real-world conditions. AVxcelerate Sensors is now accessible through Cognata’s Automated Driving Perception Hub (ADPH), which runs on Microsoft Azure and 4th Generation AMD EPYC processors and Radeon PRO GPUs. “Ansys’ AVxcelerate Sensors platform includes real-time radar capabilities for accurate modeling of radar interactions in complex environments,” said Shane Emswiler, vice president of products at Ansys. “By offering the solution on Cognata’s ADPH platform, we are enabling customers to design for real-world operations to meet strict regulatory standards. As the industry works toward fully autonomous driving, safety validation is paramount, and the joint effort between Ansys and Cognata streamlines this typically long and complicated process.” Click the link to learn more: https://ansys.me/4gWyChe

Meet Poonam Yadav, Senior R&D Documentation Specialist at Ansys. 📝 "I have been at Ansys for three years, but my career journey spans eight years of merging technology and creativity. After graduating with a degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering in 2015, during a challenging job market, I began as a technology content writer. This role unexpectedly led me to interview global thought leaders and profile CEOs." Why Ansys? 🤔 "Ansys is where serious innovation happens, using tools that shape the future of engineering. It’s now my mission to raise awareness about the impact of simulation technology, from enhancing car safety to accelerating chip design. Ansys is the ideal environment for someone like me who loves exploring both technology and creativity." How do you get involved outside of work? 🙋♀️ "I’m involved with two employee resource groups (ERGs): Women in Technology and the (dis)Ability Network. I love being the go-to person for these groups — it’s rewarding to bring people together and help them feel connected. Outside of work, I’m involved with Write the Docs, Tech Writer’s Tribe, Pune River Revival, and the Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN). The Write the Docs and Tech Writer’s Tribe communities help me stay connected to the advances and innovations happening in the area of my work. I also grab opportunities to mentor, coach, or present ideas to the community. GYBN is an awesome platform to connect with people all over the world who are passionate about an equitable, sustainable future. We do webinars, podcasts, mentorship programs, and sponsorships. I was also part of a protest in Punawale (the area where I live) to save 22 hectares of forest land from becoming a garbage depot."
