How do we honor the veterans on our Americold team? With deep pride and gratitude. At our Mountville site in the U.S., the team created a memorial wall at the building entrance to pay tribute to the veterans who work on-site. This growing display will feature photos and mementos over time, serving as a daily reminder of their service and sacrifice. We’re proud to recognize the nearly 1,600 veteran service members on our United States team.

Food is at the heart of what we do, and we are always honored to support programs that provide food for families. Associates from our Gateway II facility in the U.S. volunteered with Feeding GA Families, a nonprofit food pantry supporting families and individuals struggling with food insecurity. Our team sorted food, packed supplies, and helped distribute fresh and packaged goods to those in need. We’re proud to make a difference in our community and partner with organizations that share our commitment to fighting hunger.

We are proud to announce that 31 of our cold storage buildings in the U.S. have earned the Certified Sustainable Property (CSP) certification by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). This certification recognizes sustainable property management and certifies that our buildings adhere to strict guidelines in five core areas: indoor air quality, waste management, energy efficiency, water conservation, and tenant and community involvement. 🌱

We’re committed to taking care of the communities where we live and work. This week, volunteers from Atlanta in the U.S. proudly supported Girls on the Run International’s 5K celebration by sponsoring and staffing a water station. Associates cheered on participants, handed out water, and joined in celebrating a program that inspires confidence and life skills in young girls. We’re honored to make a difference and support the next generation in our community. 💜

We recently held a Leadership Academy in the Netherlands focused on cultivating connections and aligning vision and values for leaders in the region. Our Head of Supply Chain Systems in Europe, Adriaan Lievense, shared that “The Leadership Academy represents a game changer for Americold. We’re thrilled to be selected as the 2024 Top Software & Technology Solutions category winner for Warehouse Automation by Supply & Demand Chain Executive. This award recognizes software and technology solutions designed to provide automation, efficiency, and visibility to the supply chain space. We were recognized for automated receiving technology at our Russellville facility that helps streamline customer processes.
