The thoughts and deepest sympathies of the entire American Red Cross are with those affected by the incident in New Orleans this morning. In partnership with local and federal emergency officials, trained Red Cross team members are supporting a Family Assistance Center providing mental health care, food and other resources for those who need it. We will remain in close contact with officials to provide additional support where needed in the coming days.
