Cost is certainly a factor when it comes to relocation, but what exactly do the costs entail, and what other considerations must be made when relocating employees? Andy Hawtin, Altair Global’s Vice President of Business Development in EMEA, joined Expat Academy Ltd’s latest episode of their new podcast, “Moving by the Seat of Our Pants: Cost Control Manoeuvres.” The episode highlights understanding what companies are looking for when having to relocate employees, cost control, different values with services to improve the employee experience, and using data to understand what is necessary for their journey. Andy shared valuable insight into the role of data in decision-making, which we’re all too familiar with here at Altair with our commitment to #ExperienceManagement data. “Get into some of the data of what you have done so far and what you are looking to do in the future, we talk about analytics a lot in our industry,” Andy says. “You like to think there is some data from your current provider… that you can use to really dig into what services are being utilized, what value was in the services, and whether you can put actual data against how people feel and the value that those individuals felt in receiving some of those benefits – [that] would be a good starting point.” Find out how Andy’s journey with mobility began, what factors to consider with cost control, and more here: https://lnkd.in/gc9xqz28 #GlobalMobility #TalentMobility #CorporateRelocation #CostManagement #ExpatAcademy

How are the recent political developments in Europe affecting #TalentMobility, specifically #immigration, in 2025? 🌍🪪 Following a great first Sunrise Mobility Session in Paris, Magali Bessard, Business Development Manager of Destination Services in France, hosted Virginie Le Baler, CEO at Oui Immigration, in this informative video. Magali and Virginie talk through the impacts of immigration policies in Europe following members of the EU and Britain meeting to discuss developments and implementations in each country to counter rising illegal immigration, after seeing heightened rates in the past year. Throughout the conversation, the two dive deep into how upcoming entry-exit systems will be implemented and how each country will mitigate these changes. Find out what these discussions entailed and how European migration protocols are going to be changing country by country in the coming year here: https://lnkd.in/e5T9E7hq #GlobalMobility #CorporateRelocation #EuropeanPolitics #Travel

Altair Global conducts a rigorous risk assessment of its global supply chain yearly to look at each supplier partner’s compliance and risk mitigation efforts. We are pleased to share that 97% of Altair’s global network was again identified as low-risk in the most recent survey. 🔐⚖️ Altair is entrusted with the care of our customers through each assignment and that work includes everything from technology integrations to handling personal identifiable information (PII) to making green choices in travel and housing, and we believe our partners should uphold the same safety and compliance efforts. The survey contains 164 questions, split into 20 categories covering topics such as software application security, security policy, certifications, and many more.
