About us

The Analytical, Life Science & Diagnostics Association (ALDA) is the industry trade association for companies that develop and supply life science, analytical and diagnostics products and services. We advocate for our members’ business growth and global success by providing meetings with timely, strategic subject matter; networking and relationship-building opportunities; global market and business intelligence; and insight on emerging technologies, markets, and business strategies. ALDA focuses on the technologies, innovation, and markets in which our members participate. Member companies range from the industry’s largest suppliers to medium-size and small pre-product companies. Together, our analytical and life science members account for more than 50 percent of the industry’s global revenues. Our diagnostics members manufacture and supply molecular diagnostics, companion diagnostics, and emerging and next-generation diagnostic technologies. ALDA, formerly known as ALSSA, was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in Alexandria, VA.

  • Last night, December 4, ALDA hosted women executives in Boston for an energizing evening of meaningful conversations and shared insights. We were honored to have Lucy Perez, Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company and Coleader of the McKinsey Health Institute, as our guest speaker.
