It’s National Apprenticeship Week! To celebrate, we’re thrilled to highlight Asma’s 3.5-year journey with Alarm.com. Before joining the Alarm.com apprenticeship program, Asma spent years teaching computers and doing charity work, temporarily setting aside her degree. This made re-entering the tech industry challenging without recent experience. The apprenticeship was a turning point, enabling her to pursue her dream of a career in tech. Asma joined the Quality Engineering team in February 2021 as a Test Analyst apprentice and moved to the Partner Tools team after her apprenticeship. This month, Asma transitioned to a full-time Data Analyst role on our Business Intelligence team! 🎉 “The Alarm.com apprenticeship program was key to my professional and personal growth,” said Asma. “It gave me hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and best practices in quality engineering. Working on impactful projects, collaborating with experienced engineers, and receiving mentorship accelerated my learning. Personally, it boosted my confidence, honed my problem-solving skills, and instilled a strong work ethic." We’re proud of Asma’s journey and look forward to seeing all that she’ll continue to achieve at Alarm.com. #NationalApprenticeshipWeek
