Welcome aboard Swapnil Shah! As a seasoned operating executive, passionate about launching and scaling new ventures, Swap has founded three enterprise software companies. He joins AI Fund’s ecosystem as a Venture Advisor, where he works with founders during their startup journey. Most recently Swap was the founder and CEO of FirstFuel Software, an industry leader in customer intelligence for utilities, delivering solutions to 40 of the world’s largest electric and gas utilities. FirstFuel was acquired in a private equity led rollup to form Uplight. Prior to FirstFuel, Swap founded and led two data center automation software companies that were acquired by Oracle and Inktomi. Swap served as a growth advisor and board member of Resource Innovations (acquired by Morgan Stanley Capital) and currently serves on the boards of GridX, Urbint, Innowatts and the Northeast Clean Energy Council.

A seasoned recruiter, she was previously a Lead Technical Recruiter at Slack, where she supported the data engineering and core infrastructure teams. Before that, she was an Engineering Recruiter at Google and joined automotive startup NIO prior to its IPO. At NIO, she was part of a team that helped the company grow from <400 to over 1,000 people. When not assembling high performing teams, Malini has a soft spot for animals and she enjoys hiking with her German shepherd Rufus.

A seasoned entrepreneur, he previously founded travel company Yapta (Your Amazing Personal Travel Assistant) and led it to acquisition by Coupa. He also co-founded payments platform CoreChain Technologies. He revolutionized Alaska Airlines’ product offering and led corporate partnerships at LendingClub before and after its IPO and was a key leader at internet sports pioneer Fogdog Sports (IPO and later acquired by eBay). He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s in engineering from Duke University.

André Luis Martins Filho joins AI Fund's ecosystem as a Founder in Residence! Welcome aboard Andre! He is building a project around AI enabled automation for freight brokers with us in our studio in collaboration with supply chain specialists Dynamo Ventures. Previously, Andre co-founded Brazilian supply chain tech company Uello and led it zero to acquisition as Chief Product Officer. It was acquired in 2022 by Brazil’s largest fashion retailer, Lojas Renner SA in what was one of the most significant supply chain tech acquisitions in the country. At Uello, Andre oversaw the platform’s growth to manage over 10M deliveries per year across all of Brazil, Chile and Colombia.
