We are excited to announce that our study - “Who” Is the Best Creative Thinking Partner? An Experimental Investigation of Human–Human, Human–Internet, and Human–AI Co-Creation - has just been published in the @ Journal of Creative Behavior 🎉 🔍 Key Findings * Human-Human Collaboration Wins: Teams of two humans outperformed human–Internet and human–AI groups in divergent thinking tasks. * Boosting Creative Confidence: Human-Human collaboration also increased participants' creative confidence — an effect not seen in the Human-AI or Human-Internet groups. * AI Creativity Assessment Challenged: Our findings revealed discrepancies between human and AI-based creativity evaluations, suggesting a potential “Elaboration Bias” in AI scoring. 🌐 Why It Matters As AI tools like ChatGPT become integral to creative work, understanding WHEN and HOW humans, AI, and the Internet best complement each other is crucial. 👉 Our research highlights the enduring value of human collaboration 🤝 for creativity—even in the Age of AI.
